ReelYou is currently an access-gated KeenAI preview while we prepare and verify a public release. Google and Firebase authenticate your account. Connecting Gmail is optional and requires a separate affirmative consent. Development and production accounts and grants are separate. When you open or refresh the feed, ReelYou reads up to 20 inbox messages from the last 30 days: sender, subject, Gmail-provided preview, received time, unread state, and message/thread IDs. When you explicitly choose Mark as read, ReelYou removes only that message's UNREAD label in Gmail. New connections request the Gmail modify permission, which technically permits broader reading and changes, including editing and sending email, but this preview limits its requests to these functions. It does not send or delete email, make other email changes, fetch message bodies or attachments, or use AI. Existing read-only connections can still read the feed and may optionally grant the additional permission to mark messages as read. Email previews pass through our Google Cloud backend and are kept only in request/app memory. They are not stored in the database, browser offline storage, or used for advertising or model training. We store your account identity, connection state, and encrypted authorization credentials until you disconnect or delete your account. Google Cloud and Firebase provide hosting, storage and authentication. Tokens and email content are excluded from application logs. The web app uses Firebase-managed browser storage to keep you signed in. A short-lived, secure cookie binds the Gmail authorization redirect to your browser; it is not an app login cookie. Temporary OAuth lookup records contain only an account reference, attempt ID and expiry; authorization expires after five minutes, and expired lookup records are removed by automated cleanup. Offline support caches only the public app shell, never your inbox. You can clear those files using the Recover web app link. Disconnect Gmail in Account or Android Settings to stop access and request Google grant revocation for this environment across devices. Signing out only removes this device's local session; it does not disconnect Gmail. Delete your account to remove the ReelYou account and credentials. Cleanup may remain pending while Google is unavailable; the app shows its status and lets you retry. If cleanup fails, encrypted credentials are retained only to complete revocation; contact us for assistance. Disconnecting or deleting your ReelYou account does not delete Gmail messages or undo messages you have already marked as read. ReelYou's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
